Hello! My name is Katherine Zysk. This is my first year at North Valleys High School and I am excited to be your teacher.

I was blessed to spend my first years teaching in Ohio private schools, where students are encouraged to develop the written, oral, and technological communication skills that will serve them well in whatever profession they choose to pursue.

One of my strengths as a teacher was incorporating technology into the curriculum, including a classroom website that was updated frequently with lecture notes and homework assignments. To my surprise, this website was not only utilized by my students, but was also frequently visited by other students and teachers as a resource for their own study and instruction. For that reason, I decided to reformat my former classroom site to better suit its new role as a reference for high school physical science and introductory chemistry and physics.

Teachers...Much of the material on this site was borrowed from others and adapted to fit my needs. Therefore, I encourage you to do the same. I have always thought that the willingness to share information is one of the unique characteristics that makes the teaching profession stand out from many others.
