Night Drill - March 17, 2007
On St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2007, at Woodley Park, Los Angeles CERT had its first-ever night drill.
We set up our tents, cooked dinner and learned about FRS and GMRS radios and generators.
HOPE Animal Assisted Crisis Response spoke to us. They use dogs to provide emotional support in crisis/disaster situations. They are all-volunteer and certified teams. Their dogs are tested for temperment and behavior under stress.
